Jimmie (Franklin) Vaughn

Mrs. Jimmie Franklin Vaughn, age 79, widow of Paul "Cook" Vaughn, of 528 Grindall Ford Rd., Gaffney, South Carolina, passed away at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Sunday, February 16, 2025.

Mrs. Vaughn was born on May 1, 1945, in Union, daughter of the late Jimmie Lee Franklin and Lois Sanders Franklin. She was a retired massage therapist having worked for Belue Chiropractic Clinic.

Mrs. Vaughn is survived by daughters, Jana "Cricket" Rutledge of Union, Roxanne Baker of Charleston, and Kelley Price and her friend Jaime Shever of Union. She is also survived by her son Brad Vaughn of Union, a sister Donna Gail Boulware, seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Vaughn was predeceased by brothers, Joe Franklin, Bobby Gene Franklin and sisters, Willie Rogers, Elizabeth Ivester and Jessie Cobb.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Holcombe Funeral Chapel at Jonesville conducted by Rev. Randy Burgess. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Foster's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Todd Price, David Craig, Dalton Southerland, Jayce Southerland, Jaime Shever and Danny Chesshire.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, 4th Floor Heart Center, 1st Floor Oncology and Home Health Care for their wonderful care for our mother.

The family will be at their respective homes.
