August 12, 2015 Mr. Jimmy H. Robinson, age 74, husband of Margie Faucette Robinson of 257 Parks Farm Rd., Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mr. Robinson was born in Union, SC September 26, 1940, a son of the late Paul Grady Robinson and Willie Blanche Foster Robinson. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and was a former member of the US Army Reserve. Mr. Robinson was formerly employed in Management with Milliken & Company for thirty-five years and retired from Mayfair Mills after eight years of service. He was a member of Jonesville United Methodist Church where he was Vice Chair Person of the Church Council and had also served in all capacities of the church. Mr. Robinson has served as Past President of the Jonesville Jaycees; Past President of the Jonesville Band Boosters Association where he received an award for outstanding services. He also was selected as Outstanding Young Men of America Award for his outstanding professional achievements, leadership ability and exceptional service to the community. Surviving in addition to his wife of fifty-five years are a daughter, Crystal R. Bryant and husband Tim of Jonesville; a special grandson, Jameson Holt and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Robinson was predeceased by a brother, Keith Robinson. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 14, 2015 at Jonesville United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Jim Ivey. Honorary pallbearers will be Al Seaburg, Tommy Cunningham, Steve Morrow, James Holt, Jamie Morris and Mark Sanders. Memorials may be made to Jonesville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 787, Jonesville, SC 29353. Visitation will be held in the church following the service. The family will be at the home, 257 Parks Farm Rd., Jonesville.
