Joann Paige Spencer

Mrs. Mildred Joann Paige Spencer, age 81, of 852 Quarter Round Rd., Pacolet, widow of James Dean Spencer, Sr., passed away, Sunday, April 11, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Spencer was born August 24, 1939 in Gaffney, a daughter of the late George Paige and Virginia Padgett Paige.  She was retired from the textile industry and had worked at Rite Aid in Pacolet.

Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Cooke and husband Dean of Tennessee; a son, Wayne Winstead and wife Janice of Pacolet; a sister, Cathy Paige of Travelers Rest; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by two infant sons, Buddy Lewis Winstead and Michael Todd Winstead; and a brother, Jerry Paige.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Jonesville Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Ralph Brown.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel.
