Joe Martin Gregg

October 21, 2015 Mr. Joe Martin Gregg, age 71, husband of Carol Evans Gregg of 659 Alman Street, Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mr. Gregg was born in Union, SC November 17, 1943, a son of the late Frank Gregg, Sr. and Millie Turner Gregg. He attended Jonesville High School and retired from INA in Spartanburg. Mr. Gregg was a veteran of the SC National Guard. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Surviving in addition to his wife of forty-eight years are two daughters: Angela "Sissy" Mabry and husband Tim of Gaffney and Marsha Vinson of Jonesville; three sisters: Hattie Addis of Jonesville, Nell Gregg of Union and Margaret Guyton of Gaffney; five grandchildren: David Vinson of Jonesville, Thomas Mabry, Joseph Mabry, Daniel Mabry and Michael Mabry all of Gaffney. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 23, 2015 at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel conducted by Rev. Randy Burgess. Visitation will be held immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615. The family is at the home, 659 Alman Street, Jonesville, SC 29353.
