Joe Ann Holladaye

August 23, 2015 Mrs. Joe Ann Holladaye, age 83, of 1201 Old Buncombe Rd., Union, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Holladaye was born in Columbiana, AL, July 27, 1932, a daughter of the late Joseph and Clinie Lowery Holladaye. She was retired from textiles having worked at both Inman and Enoree Mills and was a member of Padgett's Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Holladaye was the last surviving member of seven children in her family. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Hood and husband Raymond of Gaffney; a son, Albert "Tommy" White of Union; six grandchildren, Shannon Moore of the home, Tracy Sinclair and Jackie Brawley both of Jonesville, Eugene Moore of Union, Lisa White Harris of Spartanburg and Brandon White of Birmingham, AL; and a number of great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Padgett's Creek Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Carrol Caldwell. Burial will be at Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:00PM Tuesday at the church prior to the services. Memorials may be made to Padgett's Creek Baptist Church, 843 Old Buncombe Rd., Union, SC 29379.
