Joe Ed Littlejohn, Sr.

Mr. Joe Ed Littlejohn, Sr., 81, husband of Linda Harris Littlejohn, of 2965 Buffalo West Springs Hwy, Buffalo, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026, at his home.

Mr. Littlejohn was born December 16, 1944, in Union, SC a son of the late Aileen Stapleton, Thomas Littlejohn and Lillian Smith Littlejohn. He was a graduate of Union High School and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Littlejohn was a self-employed contractor. He had served and retired from the S C National Guard after 34 years of service.

In addition to his wife. Linda, Mr. Littlejohn is survived by sons, Joe Littlejohn, Jr and Thomas Littlejohn, both of Buffalo, a daughter, Allison Rauton and her husband, Tommy of Saluda, SC, a brother, Jimmy Stapleton and his wife, Ema and a sister, Candy Hayes of Aiken. He is also survived by grandchildren, Karmen Elsen, Anna Gentry and Cody Rauton and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. Littlejohn also leaves behind a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Bill Littlejohn, Brent Littlejohn, Don Littlejohn, David Stapleton and Steve Stapleton.

A memorial service with military honors will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 20,2026 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Mr. Robbie Littlejohn. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
