Joel F. Frost, Sr.

Buffalo, SC Mr. , age 74, of 250 Gin Circle, Buffalo, widower of Patricia Willard Frost, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Frost was born in Union Co., August 23, 1939, a son of the late Luther Franklin Frost and Ora Parham Frost. He was a retired textile worker and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a son, Trevor Jule-Frost and wife Ginger of Vallejo, CA; a daughter-in-law, Joan B. Frost of Spartanburg; two brothers, Lewis Frost and wife Brenda, and Ronnie Frost all of Union; two grandchildren, Joy Frost and Angel Wilson; a great-granddaughter; a special friend, Doris Dover of Union and his beloved poodle, Medea. Mr. Frost was predeceased by two sons, Victor Earl Frost and Joel F. Frost, Jr., a sister, Dot Thompson and a brother, Virgil Frost. A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Josh Freeman. The family will receive friend immediately following the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Union County Cancer Services, c/o Ola Jean Kelly, 117 Fant Lane, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at their respective homes.
