John Timothy Bishop

Mr. John Timothy "Tim" Bishop, age 58 of 962 Old Ferry Rd., Union, widower of Glenda Bishop passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at his home. Mr. Bishop was born in Union, SC July 27, 1959, a son of the late J.F. "Jake" Bishop and Harriett Farr Bishop. He was a graduate of Lockhart High School and was employed with Timken. Mr. Bishop was a member of Lockhart Church of God. Surviving are his life companion, Jane Turnage of Union; two sons: Travis Bishop and wife Melinda and Kyle Bishop; a sister, Libby Bishop Gaidanski and husband Paul all of Union; a brother, Retired Command Sargent Major Mike Bishop and wife Elaine of Fayetteville, NC and four grandchildren: Taegen Bishop, Khloe Bishop, Garrett Lollis and Gavin Lollis. Visitation will be held 6:30-8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel. The family is at the home of his son, Travis and Melinda Bishop, 1130 Old Ferry Rd., Union, SC 29379.
