John Wayne Brandon

Mr. John Wayne Brandon, age 83 of 105 3rd St., Union, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Brandon was born in Union, March 4, 1940, a son of the late John F. Brandon and Ottie Lee Clary Patrick. He retired from Sonoco Products and had previously worked at Excelsior Mill. Mr. Brandon was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle of God Church.

Surviving are two sons, Tim Brandon and fiancée Jamie of Clinton and Brian S. Brandon of Union. He is also survived by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Bo Patrick. He was predeceased by two sisters, Martha Davis and Frances Newton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Ricky Cook. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the chapel prior to the services.

The family will be at their respective homes.
