John George Bryant

Mr. John George Bryant, age 80, husband of Ellen Ryan Bryant of 2345 Jonesville Hwy., passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at Cherokee Medical Center.

Mr. Bryant was born in Wayne Co., Michigan, February 16, 1945, a son of the late George and Olive Lydia Mullins Bryant. He was retired from Ford Motor Company and was a veteran of the US Navy having served as a radioman aboard the USS Cone.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 59 years, Ellen, are a daughter, Shannon Lawson and husband Scott of Jonesville; a son, Shawn Bryant and wife Melissa of Seffer, FL; and a sister, Julie Rowe and husband David of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Zachary Holdcraft and Jordan Holdcraft and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Rosu.

Services will be scheduled by the family at a later date.

The family will be at their respective homes.
