John R. Cremeans

Mr. John Raymond Cremeans, age 80, husband of Robin Kimbro Cremeans of 117 Spruce St., Union, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

Mr. Cremeans was born in Tulsa, OK, May 21, 1945, a son of the late Clovis Leo Cremeans and Rhoda Ellen Carroll Cremeans. He was retired from Timken Co. and previously worked for Paragon Plastics. Mr. Cremeans was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 34 years, Robin are three daughters, Vicki Cremeans Glenn and husband Michael of Florida, Deborah Henderson and husband Tim of Jonesville and Melissa Hancock and husband Jonathan of Spartanburg; a son, John G. Cremeans and wife Candy of Smithfield, NC; a sister, Virginia Cosgray of Ohio; a brother, James Cremeans and a sister-in-law, Judy Yount and husband Ronnie of Union. He is also survived by grandchildren, Sarah Glenn, Sam Glenn, Tucker Henderson, Blaine Gonzales, Lillie Hancock, Hannah Friess and husband Jacob and Amelia Cremeans and six great grandchildren.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to Spartanburg Regional Hospice for the care given to John during his illness.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Lakeside Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 PM Saturday at the church prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeside Baptist Church, 640 Lakeside Dr., Union, SC 29379.

The family will be at the home, 117 Spruce St. Union.
