Johnny Biggerstaff

November 4, 2018 Mr. Johnny Biggerstaff, age 65 husband of Judy Canupp Biggerstaff of 124 Hancock St., Union passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Biggerstaff was born in Union, June 11, 1953 a son of John Alvin Biggerstaff and Frances Thomas Biggerstaff. He was a graduate of Union High School and graduated from the University of South Carolina-Union. Mr. Biggerstaff was a member of Legacy Outreach Church where he was a part of the Praise and Worship Team. Surviving in addition to his wife, Judy are a daughter, Jessica Edwards and husband Chris of Union; a son, Jeremy Lankford and wife, Karen of Spartanburg; one sister, Evelyn King of Laurens; three granddaughters, Hannah Hill, Brianna Hill and Peyton Edwards all of Union; two grandsons, James Lankford and Michael Lankford both of Spartanburg; one great-granddaughter, Dianna Hall of Union; and four nieces and nephews, Tripp Duncan, Brandy Duncan, William Biggerstaff and Daniel Biggerstaff. Mr. Biggerstaff was predeceased by a brother, Ray Biggerstaff. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Legacy Outreach Church, 2290 Hwy. 56, Spartanburg, SC. 29302 conducted by the Rev. Manning Strickland and Rev. Sam Baine. Burial will follow in Lockhart Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family is at the home of his parents, John and Frances Biggerstaff, 109 East Munro Street, Union, SC and at the home of his daughter, Jessica Edwards, 2189 Jonesville Lockhart Hwy., Union, SC.
