Jonathan Edward Tessnear

August 17, 2017 Mr. Jonathan Edward Tessnear, age 32, husband of Sara Hamman Tessnear of 305 Gage Avenue, Union, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mr. Tessnear was born in Orlando, FL April 6, 1985, a son of Pam Harker of Rhode Island and Rev. Paul William Tessnear and wife Loretta of Union. He was self-employed as a mechanic. Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters: Cierra Johnson and husband Austin of Idaho, Taylor Johnson and husband Logan and Harper Tessnear all of the home; a son, Tanner Johnson of the home; five brothers: Kelly Wilson and husband Matthew of Rhode Island, Gavin Tessnear, Zach Tessnear, Randy Riddle all of Union and Shannon Cook and wife Jessica of Pacolet; a granddaughter, Abby Gann of the home and a numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. Tessenar was predeceased by a cousin, Brent Tessnear, an uncle, David Tessnear and grandparents, Charles and Viola Tessnear. A visitation will be held 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday, August 20, 2017 at the SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel. The family will be at the home of his aunt, Denise Mykytka, 148 North Green River Rd., Gaffney, SC 29341.
