Joseph Edward “Eddie” Boulware

Mr. Joseph Edward "Eddie" Boulware, age 72 of 1347 Neal Shoals Rd., Union, widower of Ruby Lane Boulware, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Richard Campbell VA Nursing Home in Anderson. Mr. Boulware was born December 25, 1945 in Chester, a son of the late Clarence Marion Boulware and Edith Miller Boulware. He was a graduate of Chester High School and retired from Cone Mill-Carlisle Finishing Plant. Mr. Boulware later co-owned and operated B&L Enterprises, Inc. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force having served in Vietnam. Mr. Boulware was a member of Welcome Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon, a Sunday School Teacher, Treasurer, and Choir Member. He was a member of Woodman of the World. Surviving are three sons, Eddie Lane and wife Teresa of Union, Tommy Lane and wife Deborah of Union, and Scotty Lane of Clinton; one sister, Ann Delancey and husband Wayne of Chester; two brothers, Blane Boulware and wife Glennie and Ivy Boulware and wife Tammy; three grandchildren, Tyler Lane and fiancée Megan Smith, Andrea Lane Robinson and husband Jon, and Justin Lane; and special caregivers, Lisa Moore and Mary Duncan. He was predeceased by two brothers, James "Jimmy" Boulware and Andrew Boulware. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Welcome Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Robert Jarvis, Rev. Tony Pettit, and Rev. Lee Franklin. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Hawkins-Lane Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Josh Boulware, Chuck Boulware, Lance Davis, Lee Davis, Buddy Parris, Billy Ledford, Billy Keisler, and Jackie Earls. Visitation will be held from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and friends at Richard M.
