Joyce Adams

Mrs. Joyce Ann Vaughan Adams, age 85, wife of Ernest "Twig" Adams, of 820 Brown's Creek Church Road, Union, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. Adams was born January 19, 1939 in Union, a daughter of the late C.C. Vaughan and Bertie Vaughan Vaughan.  She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and had previously worked at Cone Mill.  Mrs. Adams was a member of Brown's Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 65 years are a sister, Rita Sanders and husband Jim of Union; two grandsons, Matthew Gregory and Jesse Gregory and wife Meagan all of Union; four great-grandchildren, Gavin Gregory, Maddie Gregory, Ally Gregory and Judson Gregory; and a sister-in-law, Sue Gregory.  She was predeceased by two daughters, Pam Gregory and Deanna Greene; one grandson, Ronnie Craig; a sister, Shirley Bobo; and four brothers, Gerald Vaughan, Larry Vaughan, Chris Vaughan, and Floyd Vaughan.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Brown's Creek Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Shawn Head.  The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the church.
