Ms. Joyce F. Dawkins, age 72, of 815 Monarch Hwy., Union, SC., passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026 at her home.

Ms. Dawkins was born June 10, 1954, in Union, SC., a daughter of the late Arthur Lee “Jack” McGlothan and Ethel Elizabeth Southerland McGlothan. She was a member of the Church of God and formerly employed at Gene’s Fine Food. Joyce loved to go to the Music Hall and enjoyed playing BINGO. She also loved the companionship of Kacie’s dog, Mason. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

Surviving are a daughter, Tina Dawkins; two granddaughters, Kacie Dawkins and Lacie Dawkins, all of the home; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Janet Bogan of Lexington, SC; Melinda Haney, Wanda Fleming and Becky McAbee all of Union.

Ms. Dawkins was predeceased by her sisters, Brenda Jean Carter, Elizabeth Ann “Libby” Gardin, Mary Ruth Taft, Wanda Kay McDermott and Nancy Lee Phillips; 2 nieces, Tracey Lee Steele and Sandy Davis.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 31, 2026 at the Holcombe Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Ricky Cook and Rev. George Gardin, Jr. Burial will follow at Jonesville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the service in the chapel.
