Joyce M. Gregory

November 17, 2015 Mrs. Joyce Medford Gregory, age 59, of 3647 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Buffalo, passed away at her home. Mrs. Gregory was born in Waynesville, NC, October 31, 1956, a daughter of the late Charles Bryan Medford, Sr. and Ruth Marie Seay Sherrill. She was a graduate of Union High School and was employed with Dollar General Distribution in Jonesville. Mrs. Gregory was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Gena Marie Gregory of Union; a son, Bryce Jordan Gregory of Mount Pleasant; three sisters, Mary Ann Murphy and husband Robert of Buffalo, Bonita Turner and husband Bill and Judy Scott and husband Kenny all of Union; three brothers, Brian Charles Medford of Steadman, NC, Billy Medford and wife Barbara of Union and Wid Medford and wife Marlene of Ohio; two grandchildren, Kaden Bryce Gregory and Baylee Addison Gregory both of Mount Pleasant and a special friend Janet Jennings of Union. Mrs. Gregory was predeceased by a brother Darryl Medford. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Philippi Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Robert Scott. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Wid Medford, Kevin Scott, Robert Murphy, Kenny Scott, Billy Medford and Bryan Medford. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Thursday at the church prior to the services. The family will be at the home of her sister, Mary Ann and Robert Murphy, 3657 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Buffalo.
