Joyce B. Plemons

Mrs. Joyce Ann Brewington Plemons, age 78, of 140 Dana Tara Lane, Buffalo, widow of Joe Oliver Plemons, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at her home.

Mrs. Plemons was born in Union, March 20, 1944, a daughter of the late James Floyd Brewington and Annie Haney Brewington. She was a retired beautician and a member of Buffalo United Methodist Church. Mrs. Plemons was active in the church as long as her health permitted. She was a member of the Eva Sanders Circle and served as a Lay Leader.

Surviving are a daughter, Heather Gibson and friend Mark Ellis of the home; a son, Harold Plemons and wife Angela of Jonesville; four grandchildren Landon Bradburn, Madison Bradburn, Jacob Plemons and Jade Plemons; two brothers, Jimmy Leon Brewington and wife Judy of Spartanburg and Thomas "Tommy" Brewington of Buffalo. She was predeceased by two sisters, Judy Cathcart and Debra Dow and a brother, Michael Floyd Brewington.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 13, 2023 at Buffalo United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Jeff Farmer and Rev. Kevin Dalton. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be David Plemons, Jerry Plemons, Jacob Plemons, Roger Gregory, Brad Phillips and Chad Bradburn.
