Joyce Snowden Wood

Mrs. Joyce Snowden Wood, age 79, of 715 S. Duncan Bypass, Union, widow of Leroy Wood, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at White Oak at North Grove.

Mrs. Wood was born July 5, 1942, in Union, a daughter of the late Raymond Snowden and Mildred Edwards Snowden.  She was retired from Walmart as a Department Manager.  Mrs. Wood was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are two daughters, Cindy Vinson and Crystal Quinn and husband Robby all of Union; a sister, Brenda Palmer and husband Ronnie of Union; two brothers, Ray Snowden and Ronnie Sanders all of Union; seven grandchildren, Cassie Greene, Bryan Greene, Courtney Allen, Erica Chapman, Daniel Wood, Wentson Wood, and Lacey Wade; and thirteen great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by two sons, Alan Wood and Danny Wood.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, June 10, 2022,

at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Brian Redding and Robby Quinn.

Visitation will be held immediately following the services at the cemetery.

The family is at their respective homes.
