Judith T. Eversman

Judith Thomas Eversman of Union, SC passed away August 25, at Savannah Grace in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Mrs. Eversman was born in Union on December 15, 1935 the daughter of the late George W. Thomas and Delle Jeter Thomas. Judith graduated from Winthrop and received her Master's in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina. She retired from Union County Schools after teaching for 28 years. She was a lifelong member of Grace United Methodist Church, and a former member of the Junior Charity League, the Criterion Book Club, Delta Kappa Gamma, and the Union Cotillion Club. Judith was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing the piano, beach vacations, shopping and playing bridge. Judith is survived by her daughter, Lynn Zeringue and husband Stephen of Mt. Pleasant; a daughter-in-law Anne Menna and husband John of Knoxville, TN; three grandsons: John Dillon Eversman, IV of Austin, TX, John Joseph Zeringue of Brooklyn, NY and Andrew Stephen Zeringue of Mt. Pleasant. Judith is predeceased by her husband of 55 years John Dillon (Jack) Eversman, Jr. and son John Dillon Eversman, III. The family will have a graveside service on Saturday, August 27 at 1:00 at Grace United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. David Bauknight.
