January 27, 2016 Mr. Judson James Gregory, age 84, husband of Pearl Creasman Gregory of 104 Bermuda Dr., Union, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Magnolia Manor in Inman. Mr. Gregory was born in Union, June 11, 1931, a son of the late Will and Hilda Saunders Gregory. He retired from Milliken and Co., Monarch Plant having worked in the shop and was owner of the Sno-White Laundromat on the Duncan ByPass. He was a 60 year member of the Union Masonic Lodge #75. He loved children and was a supporter of the Shriners Hospital for the last 27 years. Mr. Gregory was a member of Duncan Acres United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Terry J. Gregory and wife Alice; one brother, Gene Gregory and wife Barbara all of Union; four grandchildren, Michael Poole, Travis Poole, Phillip Gregory, and Jason Gregory; five great-grandchildren, Jacob Gregory, Taylor Gregory, Neely Owens, Jordian Owens, and Nick Gregory and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Gregory was predeceased by two sisters, Willie Mae Ashford and Alti Bell Colson, and a brother, Arthur L. Gregory. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, January 29, 2016 at Duncan Acres United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Merritt Wentz. Burial with Masonic Rites will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Howard Whitehead, Franklin Pridemore, Mike Phillips, Randy Lee, Monty Kingsmore and Dell Mitchell. Members of the Union Masonic Lodge and Dean Fowler are asked to serve as the honorary escort. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 PM Friday at the church prior to the services. Memorials may be made to Duncan Acres United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 216, Union, SC 29379 or to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605-4277. The family will be at the home of his son, Terry and Alice Gregory, 318 W. South St., Union.
