Mrs. Judy Springs Garner, age 78, of Brown's Creek Church Road, Union, went to her Heavenly Home, Saturday, May 3, 2025, after an extended illness with dementia. She lived the last two years at The Residences of Greer to be near her children.
Mrs. Garner was born on August 21, 1946, the daughter of the late William Marvin Springs and Nora Adlissie Lancaster Springs. She was a 1964 graduate of Union High School and had an Associate's Degree from Cecil's Business College and worked as an Administrative Assistant at United Merchants Buffalo Plant, Engineering Department for several years before it closed, and then worked at Flagstar in Spartanburg. Mrs. Garner was a member of Mon-Aetna Baptist Church, Union.
Mrs. Garner is survived by her son, Kenneth Garner and his wife Crystal Adams Garner and their children Fulton, Jie, Callie Rae of Greer, and her daughter, Amy Garner Ford and her husband, Steve Ford and their children MariCate and Elisabeth of Spartanburg. Mrs. Garner also leaves behind two sisters, Patricia Springs Lawson of Buffalo, Linda Springs Scott (Dan) of Simpsonville, sister-in-law, Connie Springs, a very dear double-first cousin, Mellie Lancaster Groce (Wilbur), and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Dale Springs (Mildred) and Wayne Springs.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Mon Aetna Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Visitation will be immediately following the services.

Her children and grandchildren would like to extend a special "Thank you" to the care givers at The Residences of Greer and MSA Hospice for taking such wonderful care of "Grandmom".
