Judy Ellen Whitehead

Mrs. Judy Ellen Whitehead, age 70, husband of Paul Jerry Whitehead, Sr., of 202 Mill St., Union, passed away, Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Whitehead was born December 20, 1947 in Union, a son of the late Floyd Howard Sizemore, Sr. and Ellen Greene Sizemore. She was retired from Milliken & Co.-Monarch Plant. Mrs. Whitehead was a member of Ottaray Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter, Marlene W. Rhinehart and husband James of Union; two sons, Tim Sizemore and wife Gloria of Buffalo and Paul Jerry Whitehead, Jr. and wife Crystal of Union; two sisters, Donna S. Nave and husband Mike of Union and Carol Caldwell all of Union; one brother John Sizemore of Erwin, TN; ten grandchildren, Whitney Smith and husband Phillip, Jordan Bradley and husband Jesse, Chasity Rhinehart and fiancée Cory Horne, Brooke Rhinehart and fiancée Nick Presnell, Dusty Rhinehart, Michaela Whitehead and fiancée Damon Walter, Macy Whitehead, JerriLynn Whitehead, Michelle Pilgrim and husband Sammy, and Dawn Neal; and nine great-grandchildren, Payton, Vaida, Bryson, Jazzy, Kennedy, Eli, D.J., Jonathan, and Cheianne. She was predeceased by one brother, Butch Sizemore, one grandchild, Caleb Whitehead, one daughter-in-law, Sherry G. Sizemore, and one brother-in-law, Perry Caldwell. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Ottaray Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Walter Holcombe. Active pallbearers will be, David Jones, Lee Wilburn, Thomas Gugliucci, Tyler Gibson, Matt Sizemore, and Chandler Sizemore. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Ottaray Baptist Church, P.O. Box 70, Union, SC 29379.
