November 26, 2015 Mrs. Juline Seay Henderson, age 76, wife of Bobby "Doc" Henderson, of 110 Haile St., Jonesville, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Henderson was born in Spartanburg, SC on October 22, 1939 a daughter of the late Woodrow W. Seay and Blanche Nichols Seay. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother-in-law, this was her greatest accomplishment. Mrs. Henderson was a 1957 graduate of Jonesville High School where she was a cheerleader. She was retired from the Union County School District having worked for 27 years as a teacher's assistant at Jonesville Elementary School and had previously worked at Jonesville Products. Mrs. Henderson was a faithful member of Jonesville Baptist Church for 60 years where she was a member of the Claudia Coleman Sunday School Class, served on the Hostess Committee, was a member of Happy Hearts, and worked with the youth of the church. She had a great love for God and her Savior Jesus Christ and showed it by the way she lived her life. Children had a special place in her heart, she showed this love by allowing many children to live in her home. Mrs. Henderson loved cooking and baking, for those who were ill or for special occasions. She also loved spending time at her second home, Crescent Beach with family and friends. Surviving in addition to her husband of 58 years are two sons, Bobby Henderson, Jr. of Columbia, and Tim Henderson and wife Deborah of Jonesville; a daughter, Leslie Parris and husband Scott of Jonesville; a sister, Brenda Langdale of Spartanburg; two granddaughters, Laura and Leigh Parris both of Jonesville; two grandsons, Tucker Henderson of Jonesville and Blaine Gonzalez of Union; two great-grandsons, Andrew and Max Gonzalez of Pacolet; a special cousin who was like a sister, Betty Neil Quinn of Pacolet; a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. She was predeceased by a special grandmother Laura Ada Nichols. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Jonesville Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Scott Cannon and her special friend, Mrs. Debbie Littlejohn. Burial will follow at Jonesville Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be, Doran Eaves, Lynn Blackwell, Lynn Parker, Bryan Evans, Tommy Quinn, and Brad Parris. The following are asked to form the honorary escort, members of the Claudia Coleman Sunday School Class and former and current teachers of Jonesville Elementary/Middle School. Visitation will be held 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Jonesville Baptist Church prior to the services. The family wishes to extend a special "thank you" to Dr. James D. Bearden, his nurse Reggie Scoggins, Dr. Patricia Griffin, Sharon Bartlet, and Hospice Care of South Carolina for all of their love, care, and compassion that was shown to Mrs. Henderson during her illness.
