Justin Michael Lawson

Mr. Justin Michael Lawson, age 37 of 4932 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Pauline, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

Mr. Lawson was born in Spartanburg, October 7, 1986, a son of Ira H. and Kathryn Gossett Lawson of the home. He was a 2004 graduate of Jonesville High School and the Union Career Center, and a 2005 graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College. He was currently employed with Gestamp in Union and was the former owner of Lawson's Kustoms of Buffalo. He was a member of West Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his parents are two daughters, Kayleigh Lawson and Kaitlyn Lawson; a son, Slade Lawson and his sister, Maveric Sweat; a sister, Holly Boulware and husband Michael; a nephew, Lawson Boulware and his maternal grandmother, Barbara Crocker. He is also survived by aunts, Jayne Lawson, Vicki Kendrick and husband Darrell, Wanda Loyless, and Alyson Varner and husband Bill; uncles, Eddie Lawson and wife Rhonda and Joey Lawson and wife Kim and numerous cousins. Justin was predeceased by his fiancée Olivia Chavis, an uncle, Ray Lawson; his paternal grandparents, Herman and Audrey Lawson; his maternal grandfather, Leslie Gossett and his maternal step-grandfather, Wayne Crocker.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Bogansville United Methodist church conducted by Rev. Ed Traxler and Rev. Blake Kendrick. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:30 PM Thursday at the church prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Jordan Lawson, Joey Lawson, Joseph Lawson, Scott West, Byran West and Kenny Guy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lawson Children's Educational Fund, c/o Arthur State Bank, PO Box 769, Union, SC 29379.

The family will be at the home, 4932 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Pauline.
