Kate F. Huggins

December 22, 2018 Mrs. Kate Ford Huggins, age 62, wife of Ronnie Odell Huggins of 105 Hart St., Union, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Huggins was born in Union Co., July 9, 1956, a daughter of the late Robert Edward Ford and Frances Donzelle Reynolds Ford. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and was previously employed with Her Majesty of Union and Phillips Hosiery of Buffalo. Mrs. Huggins was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Ronnie Odell Huggins, II and wife Tracey of Spartanburg and Kevin Scott Huggins and wife Stephanie of West Pelzer; one brother, Robert Ford, Jr. of Inman; six grandchildren, Jordan Scruggs, Samantha Huggins, Jordan Paige Huggins, Hannah Harris, Riley Huggins, and Jackson Huggins. Mrs. Huggins was predeceased by three brothers, Roger Dale Ford, John Ford and Donald Ford. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mark Truitt. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:30 until 3:00 Wednesday at the church prior to the services. Memorials may be made to Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) 315 Thompson Blvd., Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home of her mother-in-law, Ruby Huggins, 245Belvue Dr., Union.
