Kathaline R. Scales

Mrs. Kathaline Rash Scales, age 89, of 1494 Columbia Rd., Chester, widow of Floyd Earl Scales, passed away peacefully, Sunday, April 16, 2023, at her home surrounded by her daughter, Gina and her friend, Tex.

Mrs. Scales was born in Nashville, GA, September 1, 1933, a daughter of the late Walter Rash and Effie Taylor Rash. She retired from Springs Industries and was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Chester.

Surviving are a daughter, Gina Scales of the home and her grandchildren, Christian Anthony Scales and Waylon James Scales and a niece, Kristina Worthy of Florida. Mrs. Scales was predeceased by a son, Tony Scales and a grandson, Skyler Anthony Earl Scales.

Private services will be scheduled by the family.
