Katherine K. Crosser

June 22, 2017 Mrs. Katherine Jean Kirby "Kathy" Crosser, age 69, of 121 Dana Tara Lane, Buffalo, widow of Joe Lee Crosser, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Mrs. Crosser was born in Tacoma, WA, January 30, 1948, a daughter of the late Nesbitt and Eva Pedersen Kirby. She retired from Epic Asset Management and was formerly employed with National Plaque and Her Majesty in Union. Mrs. Crosser attended the Union Church of God and was a member of the Widow/Widowers Club at Augsburg Lutheran Church. Surviving are two sons, Michael Shane Kirby of the home and Allen David Walters and wife Tina of Jonesville; three sisters, Marian Birch of Buffalo, Shirley Moreno of Reno, NV and Barbara Blank of Tucson, AZ; four grandchildren, Erik Lollis, Chasity Miller, Ryan Walters and Kimberly Walters Estes and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Crosser was predeceased by two sisters, Alice McCarthy and Carol Mains and by two brothers, Bob Olson and Raymond Olson. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Union Church of God conducted by Rev. Stewart Anderson. The family will be at the home, 121 Dana Tara Lane, Buffalo, where they will receive friends after 12 noon Saturday. Memorials may be made to the Kathy Crosser Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379.
