Kathleen “Kat” Gault

August 6, 2015 Mrs. Kathleen "Kat" Fowler Gault, age 89 of 685 N. Hwy 150, Lot 23, Pacolet,widow of Buddy Gault, 8 passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Gault was born in Union, SC May 14, 1926, a daughter of the late Elizabeth Fowler and was a graduate of Jonesville High School. She was a retired Textile worker and was a faithful member of New Hope United Methodist Church where she had been the oldest mother of the church. Surviving are five sons: Dennis Gault of Clifton, Harold Gault of Pacolet, James Edward Gault and wife Tammy of Union, Ricky Gault and wife Kathy of Cowpens and Jerry Gault of the home; thirty-three grandchildren; fifty-one great-grandchildren and a number of great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gault was predeceased by a son, Toney Gault and a grandson, Eric Zane Morris. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, August 8, 2015 at New Hope United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Jim Ivey and Rev. Scott Cobb. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Wesley Millwood, Allen Millwood, Kenneth Howell, Bobby Youngblood, J.J. Gault and Brian Castle. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM-12:30 PM Saturday in the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Kathleen F. Gault Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home, 685 N. Hwy 150, Lot 23, Pacolet.
