Kathryn Vaughn Jolly

Mrs. Kathryn Vaughn Jolly, age 89, widow of Ralph M. Jolly, formerly of Hillcrest Dr., Union, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home.

Mrs. Jolly was born in Union, April 3, 1931, a daughter of the late William H. Vaughn, Jr. and Grace Albright Vaughn. She was a graduate of Union High School and Spartanburg Technical College. Mrs. Jolly retired from the Union County Tax Accessors Office and had formerly worked with Milliken and Co., EMMD facility. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Jolly and fiancé, George Gregory of Daytona Beach, FL; a son Douglas Jolly and wife Robbin of Rock Hill; a sister, Shirley DeBruhl of Carey, NC; a brother, "Junior" Vaughn and her daughter-in-law Linda Jolly all of Union. Mrs. Jolly is also survived by six grandchildren, Michelle Thomas and husband John, Rhonda Jolly, Erica Atkinson and husband Bryan, Katy Slaughter and husband Aaron, Olivia Sullivan and husband Tanner and Matthew Jolly and number of great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jolly was predeceased by a son, Steve Jolly, three sisters, Billie Grace Whitehead, Dot Fant and Mary Gregory, and brother, Harry Vaughn.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Hebron Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Bryan Atkinson.

The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
