Kathy Hall Williams

January 12, 2018 Mrs. Kathy Hall Williams, age 47, wife of Mark Williams of 202 Belvue Dr., Union, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Union Medical Center. Mrs. Williams was born in Gaffney on October 8, 1970 a daughter of Sheri Humphries Norris and husband George "Billy" Norris and the late Jack Hall. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and attended USC-Spartanburg. Mrs. Williams was employed with the Union Hospital District over 20 years and was currently employed by Spartanburg Regional Hospital District as the Accounting Supervisor. She was a member of Brown's Creek Baptist Church where she had previously taught Children in Action, Vacation Bible School, and worked with Awana. Mrs. Williams was a member of St. Jude's Partner in Hope. Kathy was loved by her hospital co-workers and her church family. Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are one daughter, Ashley W. Cudd and husband Caleb of Union; one granddaughter, Ella Cudd of Union; one brother, Steve Hall and wife April of Kentucky; her grandmother, Emma Dean Norris of Boiling Springs; her mother and father-in-law, Claudie and Linda Williams; one brother-in-law, Jamie Williams and wife Jackie of Union; one sister-in-law, Crystal Roper and husband Rusty of Union; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Brown's Creek Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. John Lee. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Josh Williams, Keith Williams, Phil Crayne, Kevin Shetley, James Palmer, Steve Walton, Mitch Sinclair, and Bruce Sparks, Jr. Mrs. Williams' present and past co-workers at Union and Spartanburg Medical Center and the Union County EMS Staff are asked to sit in a group and form the honorary escort. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel. The family is at the home 202 Belvue Dr., Union, SC 29379.
