Kelly Wayne Mckinney

June 30, 2016 Mr. Kelly Wayne McKinney, age 47, husband of Wanda Weathers McKinney of 133 Oak St., Pacolet, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. McKinney was born in Marion, NC, February 28, 1969, a son of Linda Bodford McKinney of Pacolet and the late Kelly Wade McKinney. He was a graduate of Broome High School and employed and as electrician. Mr. McKinney attended Friends of Faith Church in Pacolet. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Samantha King and husband Damian; three sons, Josh McKinney and wife Lauren, Zachary McKinney and Nicholas A. McKinney all of Pacolet; three brothers, Keith Pennington and wife Lindsay of Greer, Billy McKinney and Jason McKinney both of Spruce Pine, NC; three grandsons, Brantley and Jackson King and Wade McKinney; a granddaughter, Rosalynn McKinney; two uncles, Randall Bodford and wife Teresa and Richard Bodford and wife Mary all of Pacolet; an aunt, Katie Smith and husband Renn of Lenoir, NC; a special cousin, Debbie McKinney and a host of family members and friends. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Goucher Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Charlie Wilborn. Active pallbearers will be Josh McKinney, Gerald Turner, Lanny Gordan, Trevor Panther, Tyler Weathers, and Joey Weathers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday evening at the Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Kelly Wayne McKinney Fund, P.O. Box 298, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home, 133 Oak St., Pacolet.
