Mr. Kelly Eugene Thomason, age 49 of E. Munro St., Union, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026.

Mr. Thomason was born in Union, August 15, 1977 a son of Faye Revis Dawkins and husband Gene of Union and Roy E. Thomason and wife Linda of Georgia. He attended Union Co. Schools and was formerly employed with TBA Construction.

Surviving in addition to his mother and father are a daughter, Keltsey Thomason; a step daughter, Sierra Davis; a sister, Linda Griffin and husband Marty; a step sister, Tina Dawkins; granddaughters Khole Henderson and Kalea Wilburn; a niece, Brooklyn Nies; a nephew, Dylan Thomason; step nieces, Kacie and Lacie Dawkins; great niece, Zaleigh Thomason, great nephews, Zli Thomason and Davis Thomason. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael and his grandparents, James and Alice Patrick and Wallace and Lib Thomason.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Randy Smith. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Wednesday at the chapel prior to the service.

Active pallbearers will be Dylan Thomason, Shannon Sanders, Richie Gregory, David Hart, Jimmy Painter and Michael Sanford.

The family will be at the home of his sister, Linda and Marty Griffin, 124 Heathwood Rd., Union, SC 29379.
