Kevin Wayne Scates

Mr. Kevin Wayne "K Bo 3:16" Scates, age 52, of 103 Poplar St., Union, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024 at Union Medical Center.

Mr. Scates was born, May 31, 1972 in Spartanburg, a son of the late Stanley Elwood Scates and Carolyn Cartee Scates.  He had previously delivered for Fed-Ex.

Surviving are two daughters, Brieanna Huckabee and husband Chris of Laurens and Shay Campbell and husband Daniel of Clinton; a son, Chris Pike and wife Cassie of Roebuck; seven grandchildren; special friends, Julie Lydia and Roger Hill of the home, Kelly Gibson of Boiling Springs, Todd and Shannon Huckabee of Inman, and Lisa and Ken Belcher of Pauline; and many other loved ones.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
