Kimberly H. Howell

Mrs. Kimberly Heatherly Howell, age 61, wife of Dean Howell of 574 Gist Bridge Rd., Buffalo, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Howell was born in Union, September 18, 1961, a daughter of Martin Heatherly of Buffalo and the late Sadie Price Jolly. She was a 1979 graduate of Union High School and a graduate of Spartanburg Technical College. She retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years as a mail carrier. Mrs. Heatherly was a member of West Springs Baptist Church. She loved her family and especially loved helping raise her nieces and nephews.

Surviving in addition to her husband and father are a sister, Kaye Lea Heatherly and a brother, David Heatherly and wife Lisa all of Buffalo. She is also survived by two neices, Jessica Heatherly and Kota Belk, and nephews, Mitch Heatherly and wife Mandy, and Tyler Heatherly and wife Lacey, and beloved great-nephews, Cameron Heatherly and girlfriend, Kathleen Robinson, Braly Heatherly, Bradley Heatherly, Jace Anderson and Noah Ivey, and great-niece, Allison Ivey.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, August 4, 2023, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Sam Baines. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Tyler Heatherly, Mitch Heatherly, Paul Varner, Timmy Caldwell, Joel Wood and Jace Anderson.

Honorary pallbearers will be George Clark, Terry Haile, Walter Gaines, Billy Hodge, Scotty Sherfield, Brian Freeman, William Sawyer, Tina Rollins, Darlene Smalls, Melissa Newton, Joseph Maness, Ann Seay and Johnny Sherfield.

The family will be at the home, 574 Gist Bridge Rd., Buffalo.
