Kimberly Brackins Marler

Kimberly Brackins Marler, age 55, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Kimberly was born in Union, May 11, 1966, the only daughter of Donald and Emma Cannon Brackins. A 1984 graduate of Union High School, Kimberly enjoyed crocheting, fishing reading, music, and was an avid Gamecock and Yellow Jacket fan. She loved animals and was a supporter of animal rights.  Everyone who knew her realized how special she was. She came from humble beginnings but would offer to assist anyone in need.  She was a diabetic who required a transplant and was grateful to receive a pancreas and kidney over eleven years ago at MUSC. While her struggles were many, she always had a positive attitude and a love of God. She was an active member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church and will be missed dearly by her love, Thomas Foley, her daughter, Angel Lynn Sizemore and her "adopted" son, Zack Warr.

A service to celebrate Kimberly's life will be held at 3:30 PM Friday, January 28, 2022 at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Randy Smith. The family will receive friends immediately following service. The family request that those in attendance follow COVID-19 guidelines in social distancing and wearing mask.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kimberly Marler Fund, P.O. Box 148, Union, SC 29379.
