Larry Leroy Jeffcoat

July 12, 2018 Mr. Larry Leroy Jeffcoat, 65, recently passed away. Mr. Jeffcoat was born in Union on September 15, 1952, a son of the late Flonnie L. Jeffcoat and J E Jeffcoat. He was a graduate of Union High School and attended Spartanburg Methodist College where he played baseball and then was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies organization. Mr. Jeffcoat later worked in historical home restoration in Charleston. Surviving are two brothers, Rick Jeffcoat and wife Phyllis of Simpsonville and Mark Jeffcoat of Union; a niece, a number of nephews, great nieces and nephews, and special friend, Robin Inman. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Ellen Lawson and Martha Jean Smith. A remembrance service will be held on Sunday, July 15th, at 4pm in the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel.
