Mr. Larry Douglas Oney, age 57, of Union, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Mr. Oney was born on May 23, 1969 in Chillicothe Ohio, the son of the late Larry Douglas Oney I and the late Diane Poole Oney. After earning his bachelor’s degree in organizational communication from Ohio University, he was currently employed in the planning department of Magna Seating Plant.

Mr. Oney is survived by his wife, Constance Lain Oney, their son James Lain and his wife Emily, of Greenville, their daughters Sophia Oney and Makenna Oney. Mr. Oney also leaves behind two sisters, Lori Garrett and her husband Derrick of Ohio and Debbie Knox and her husband Keith of Ohio; and several nephews and nieces.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

The family is at the home.
