Larry J. Quinn

Buffalo, SC

Mr. Larry James Quinn, age 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 22, 2022. After several months of declining health, Larry passed away peacefully at home with his beloved wife, Joan and two daughters by his side.

Mr. Quinn was born in Union, SC, on January 21, 1946, the son of the late James William Quinn and Edith Loudermilk Quinn.  He was a graduate of Union High school and Spartanburg Technical College. Larry served in the United States Army and retired from Lakeview Garden Apartments as the Maintenance Manager.  He was an active member of West Springs Baptist Church where he severed as a Deacon.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan Tucker Quinn; his daughters Nicole Quinn and Jennifer and husband Brad Foster; grandchildren Natalie Quinn, Kirsten and Gunner Foster; a brother Jerry A. Quinn; a sister-in-law Terri Q. Crowell; nieces- Amy Q. Ford (Cleve), Hannah Q. Marner (Dwight) and Heather Quinn; nephews- Robby Quinn (Crystal), Alan Quinn (Lauren).   In addition to his parents, he was predeceased in death by his brother Robert E. Quinn.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at West Springs Baptist Church, Pauline, SC, conducted by Rev. Randall Runion and Rev. Greg Black.  The family will welcome family and friends immediately following the service.

There are many family and friends we wish to thank for their support of us during the last year through their many acts of love, especially– Pam & Mike Gualt, Aileen Quinn, Carolyn & Chester Lawson, Joey & Patsy Haney, Ed & Carol Heatherly, Linda Mayes, Jean Horne and Karen Brewington. A special thanks to the nurses and staff at Hospice for their compassionate care – Toni Gregory, Michelle, Cheri, and Jessica from Home Health.

Memorials may be made to the West Spring Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 4811 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy, Pauline, SC 29374.

The family will be at the home, 1437 Mudbridge Rd, Buffalo, SC 29321.
