Lavenia Shelton Haile

Mrs. Lavenia Shelton Haile, 93, of Dacusville, wife of the late Frank Wilson Haile, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 25th, 2021 at her home.

Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Dewey and Mildred Owens Shelton. She worked in the cafeteria at Dacusville Elementary School and a member of New Works Fellowship. Surviving is her daughter Mickie Holloway (Cleve); three sons: James Haile (Thelma), Donald Haile (Susan) and Frank Haile, Jr. (Celia); a brother: Jimmy Shelton (Ann); a sister-in-law: Sybil Shelton; ten grandchildren and fifteen loving great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by: a sister and two brothers. There will not be a formal visitation, but anyone wishing to sign the register book and pay their respects, may do so Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel, 145 Hames Ave., Jonesville, SC, from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Haile Cemetery in Jonesville.
