Mrs. Lee Ona DeHart Blair, age 79, widow of Andrew Frank Blair, Jr. Blair, SC went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 24, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Mrs. Blair was born November 22, 1946, in Columbia, SC, one of eight children, the fourth child and third daughter of the late Louie Jacob DeHart, Sr. and Alberta Traylor DeHart. She was a 1964 graduate of Winnsboro High School and worked for over 20 years in the Insurance Industry as an employee of the Traveler’s Insurance Agency in Columbia, SC. Mrs. Blair was of the Presbyterian faith and was a member of Salem Presbyterian Church, having become a member October 14, 2012, upon her Reaffirmation of Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a member of the “Women in the Church” organization at Salem Presbyterian.
Mrs. Blair is survived by stepsons, Andrew Frank “Dru” Blair, and Michael Cameron Blair, brothers, John Wayne DeHart (Anne) of Carlisle, William “Billy” DeHart of Blair and a sister, Sara Jane Fowler (Tommy) of Union. She also leaves behind grandchildren, nieces and nephews that she loved very much. One of Mrs. Blair’s last joys was the recent birth of her third great grandchild. In addition to her husband, Frank, she was predeceased by sisters, Alice Marie DeHart Sanders, and Gwen DeHart Padgett and brothers, Louie “Mac” DeHart, Jr. and Richard M. DeHart.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Kelly’s Chapel Cemetery, Herbert Rd., Carlisle, SC conducted by Rev. Richard B. Hodges and Rev. Gerald Moss followed at 1:00 PM by a Celebration of Life at Salem Presbyterian Church, 276 State Rd. 215 N, Blair, SC 29015.
