Leonard Larry Blair

Mr. Leonard Larry Blair, age 70, husband of Rita Stepp Blair of 640 Howell Road, Jonesville, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Spartanburg Restorative Care. Mr. Blair was born September 20, 1947 in Springfield, OH a son of the late Homer Blair, Jr. and Reba Mulls Blair. Due to the early death of his parents, Mr. Blair was raised in the home of his grandparents in Kentucky. He was a graduate of Oil Springs High School in Kentucky and was retired from Nortel Networks as a Field Supervisor. Mr. Blair was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. He attended Philippi Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Rhonda Donnelly Lindler of Jonesville and Wanda Donnelly of Union; two granddaughters, Katie Lindler and Jessica Gault both of Jonesville; and one great-grandson, Cameron Boulware of Jonesville. He was predeceased by one daughter, Mary Donnelly Gault and one sister, Linda Outlaw. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM at Philippi Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Brad Goodale. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Stepp, Eddie Turner, Ronnie Small, Dustin Turner, Russell Stephens, and Blake Boulware. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday prior to the services at the church. Memorials may be made to Philippi Baptist Church Debt Retirement Fund, 327 Philippi Church Rd., Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home, 640 Howell Rd., Jonesville, SC 29353.
