Lesesne "Rambo" Scott went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 15th. Lesesne is described by those who knew him as lively, good-humored, kind, and as a man of strong character.
He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Libby Scott, one daughter, Anna Scott, of Jonesville, one sister, Nanette Hughes (Keith) of Moore, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Joyce Garner Scott, and his father, Lewis Lesesne Scott Sr.
He was a proud 1982 graduate of Dorman High School and, throughout his career, held positions at Mascot Homes, Packaging and Specialty Papers, and Molded Pulp Packaging. A longtime member of New Hope United Methodist Church, he was also a member of the board of trustees and the finance committee. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and spent many years as a hunting guide to help others find the fulfillment he also got from the sport. Lesesne was a devoted family man that accumulated many friends and family members in his 61 years of life that will continue his legacy of love and laughter.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 2pm, with the receiving of friends beginning at 1pm, at New Hope United Methodist Church in Jonesville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Lesesne to New Hope United Methodist Church with "social hall window replacement fund" on the memo line, PO Box 787, Jonesville, SC 29353.
