Leslie Marie Lanier

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday December 18, 2021 at the Veterans Memorial Building, 322 Veterans Dr., Union, for Mrs. Leslie Marie Lanier.

Mrs. Lanier, age 51 of 144 Pine Street, Buffalo, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of Mike Lanier.

Mrs. Lanier was born in Union, SC, April 20, 1970, a daughter of the late Luther and Geraldine Hall Watkins. She was an employee of WIS International of Spartanburg, SC. Mrs. Lanier was of the Church of God faith. Leslie completed USC-Union with an Associates Degree. She was a member of Classic Ladies and loved the South Carolina Gamecocks and her dog Roscoe.

Surviving are a nephew, Michael Watkins of Simpsonville, SC, a sister-in-law Sara Lanier of Buffalo, SC, sisters Jenny Harrison and husband Dale of Gustine, TX and Carolyn Moss of W Columbia, SC, and a brother, Bill Watkins and wife Martha of Carrollton, GA. Leslie is also survived by many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Lisa Farmer and two brothers Ronnie and Jesse Watkins.
