Lettie Eula (Mitchell) Wilson

Mrs. Lettie Eula Mitchell Wilson, age 99, of 4723 Jonesville Lockhart Highway, Union, widow of Edwin Lee Wilson, Sr., passed away, Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Union Acute Care.

​Mrs. Wilson was born February 11, 1925, in Batesburg, SC, a daughter of the late Robert Russell Mitchell and Clara Kneece Mitchell.  She retired as owner and operator of Wilson Sales Company.  Mrs. Wilson was a member of Lockhart United Methodist Church and a part of the Bereavement Committee where she faithfully served from 1963 until 2018.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Senior Citizens Group of Lockhart and the Ladies Auxiliary.

​Surviving are a daughter, Sharon W. Bickett and loving companion David Brown of Chester; two sons, Eddie Wilson and wife Pam of Mt. Tabor and John Barry Wilson, Sr. and wife Elizabeth of Chester; four grandchildren, Missy Wilson Musser and husband Bill, Mitchell Clay Wilson and wife Holly, Amy Wilson Bishop and husband Chad, and John Barry Wilson, Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Lexi Wilson, Mitch Wilson, Marguerite Bishop and Claire Musser; and a brother, Aldean Mitchell of Batesburg.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Omar Mitchell and Charles Mitchell and four sisters, Magarine Mitchell Kirkland, Margaret Mitchell Denton, Mildred Mitchell Bailey, and Bobbie Lee Cook Hyatt.

​Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. Merritt Wentz and her grandson, Clay Wilson. Private burial will be held at Lockhart Cemetery.

​Visitation will be immediately following the services at the Church.

​Memorials may be made to Lockhart Masonic Lodge, 3643 Jonesville Lockhart Hwy, Union, SC 29379.

​The Family will be at their respective homes.
