Lida Mae W. Heatherly

October 27, 2019 Mrs. Lida Mae Whaley Heatherly, age 92, widow of Ralph Heatherly, formerly of 865 Lee Rd., Jonesville, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home. Mrs. Heatherly was born in Sevierville, TN, May 2, 1927, a daughter of the late Dallas and Mertie Parton Whaley. She retired from Ace Sweater in Union and was a member of West Springs Baptist Church where she was a choir member. Mrs. Heatherly was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are two grandsons, Mark Heatherly and wife Annette of Jonesville and Scott Heatherly and wife Dana of Inman; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Heatherly was predeceased by a son, Michael Heatherly. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at West Spring Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Mark Truitt. The family will receive friends immediately following the services Memorials may be made to Ellen Sagar Nursing Home Activities Fund, 1817 Jonesville Hwy., Union, SC 29379. The family will be at the home of her grandson, Mark and Annette Heatherly, 1689 Mud Bridge Rd., Jonesville.
