Lillian Stafford Crawford

July 15, 2016 Mrs. Lillian Stafford Crawford, age 75 of 211 Bryant Rd., Pacolet, widow of James Robert Crawford, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Mrs. Crawford was born in Spartanburg, SC April 20, 1941, a daughter of the late Joseph Homer Stafford and Rose Lee Miller Stafford. She was a homemaker and attended Faith Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. Surviving are a daughter, Belinda Buice of Jonesville; a son, Dale Crawford and wife Sue of Woodruff; a sister, Carolyn Beard of Pacolet; two brothers: Robert Stafford of Pacolet and Buddy Stafford of Spartanburg; a special friend, Craig Lowe of the home; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Crawford was predeceased by two sons, Jackson Allen Crawford and Billy Joe Crawford and brothers, Jack, Tom, Andrew, Troy Lee and Ernest Stafford. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 17, 2016 at SR Holcombe Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Leon Brown. Burial will be in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Crawford's grandsons, great-grandsons and nephew will serve as active pallbearers . Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Buice and Dustin Beard. Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 PM Sunday in the chapel prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Lillian Crawford Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home, 211 Bryant Rd., Pacolet, SC 29372.
