Lillie Mae Brewington

Mrs. Lillie Mae Callicutt Brewington, age 84, of 3985 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Jonesville, widow of James Donald Brewington, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Mrs. Brewington was born in Union, July 11, 1940, a daughter of the late Abner and Kattie Riddle Callicutt. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Pauline.

Surviving are a son, Scott Brewington and wife Lea of Inman; grandchildren, Melanie Lawson and husband Eric, Madisen Sinclair and husband Dalton, Matthew Brewington, Lea Anne Barrett and husband Chris, and Keith Batchler and wife Victoria; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey Lawson, C.J. Barrett and Rylea Barrett.

The family wishes to say a special Thank You to the staff and nurses of Spartanburg Medical Center, Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, Union Post Acute Care and Interim Home Health for the care given to Mrs. Brewington during her illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 20, 2024 at Friendship Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Brian Harris and Rev. Allen McKee. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Saturday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

The family will be at their respective homes.
