Lillie Mae (Goode) Smith

Lillie Mae Goode Smith was born July 26, 1940.  A native of Union, SC. She was the daughter of the Late Ager Goode and Essie Foster Goode. She was married to the Late Johnnie Smith Sr.

Lillie Mae entered enteral rest on June 8th, 2021, at Heartland Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Along with her two sons Major Randy E. Smith and Johnny Smith, Jr.; four brothers Lonnie (Emma) Goode, Coleman (Barbara) Goode, William (Lorraine) Goode, James (Inez) Goode and, Aaron (Nellie) Goode; three sister Emma Lee Clowney, Isabella (Willis) and Glenn, Catherine (William) Wilkes.

She leaves to cherish loving memories are her sisters Shirley (Joe) Wilkes of Union, SC, and Kathy (Anthony) Hall of Connecticut, a daughter-in-law Roslyn G. Smith of Colorado Springs, Co., her grandchildren Nickie (Thomas) Parks of Union, Daryal (Tasha) Gist Spartanburg, Tyson (Jerrica) Means Spartanburg, Lindsay Smith of Tulsa, OK, and Haley Smith of Colorado Springs, CO.  Ten great grandchildren and a one great-great grandchild with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 12, 2021, at The Goode Family Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Larry Murphy.  Visitation will be held after the services at the cemetery.

The family is at the home of her granddaughter, Nikkie and Thomas Parks, 4716 Jonesville Lockhart Highway, Union, SC 29379.
