Linda Sinclair Alexander

Mrs. Linda Sinclair Alexander, age 65, of 109 Tyger River Lane, Whitmire, widow of Jackie Lee Alexander, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Union Medical Center. Mrs. Alexander was born in Whitmire, SC on February 9, 1950 a daughter of the late Hugh Boyd Sinclair and Helen Prince Sinclair. She was a 1968 graduate of Whitmire High School and was employed with Wal-Mart of Union for 19 years and was formerly employed with Grace United Methodist Church Child Enrichment Program. Mrs. Alexander was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church where she was assistant secretary and church clerk, a faithful member of WMU, she was also involved with many activities as Youth Leader and GA Leader and held appointment to a number of church committees. Surviving are two sons, Jason Lee Alexander and Nathan Craig Alexander both of Whitmire; two sisters, Joyce Sinclair Lambert and husband Dan of Simpsonville, SC and Dorothy Sinclair Hawkins of Prosperity, SC; one brother-in-law, Dean Alexander of Jonesville; a special friend, Kathy Babb Stokes of Union; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Hugh Boyd Sinclair, Jr. Funeral services will be held, 2:00 PM Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Bethesda Baptist Church conducted by Mr. Tim DeHart. Burial will follow at Lee Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be John Rogers, Tom Stokes, Chris Alexander, Troy Hawkins, Noel Hawkins, and Michael Moss. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the church. Memorials may be made to Bethesda Baptist Church, 5648 Whitmire Highway, Whitmire, SC 29178. The family is at their respective homes.
